Scanning tickets at the gate
Scan with any phone, with or without signal.
1Open the scanner
Sign in at bajantix.com with the email the promoter added to the event's Staff tab as a scanner, then open the Gate scanner and pick the event.
2Get ready for offline
Before the gates open, while you still have signal, tap Get ready for offline. The phone downloads the ticket list so scanning keeps working without signal and catches up when the signal returns.
3Scan
Point the camera at the ticket's QR code, or type the ticket number. Green means let them in. A ticket that's already been scanned, cancelled or for another event is refused with the reason. Tickets bought on the old BajanTix work too.
Questions
›The scanner says "not valid" while offline. Why?
Usually the ticket is for a different event than the one the scanner is set to. The scanner names the right event if it's on another list downloaded to that phone. Check the event at the top of the scanner.
